Let’s start with this. The vast majority of my Nimble CRM clients are solopreneurs. I am a solopreneur. If you are a solopreneur, I speak your language. I also already understand most of your needs and concerns as many are the same as mine.
While going solo certainly has its advantages, it can also mean a lot more work for you since you don’t have a team behind you to help carry that load. With the exception of experts who you might have hired or virtual assistants you might employ … who are you going to delegate that task to? To be honest, I’m enough of a control freak that I prefer the DIY route.
Nimble CRM has been built specifically for solopreneurs and small sales teams. Sure, there are organizations outside of these parameters who are successfully using Nimble, but that is a much smaller percentage of users. ALL of my clients match this market.
Here are 5 simple ways that Nimble can transform your solopreneur business
1. Contact management – The heart of any CRM is the contact record and Nimble’s contact records contain a record of all interactions with this person and/or company including: emails exchanged, notes, tasks, events, deals, workflows, and files. Of course, all contact data is also included: address, phone numbers, email addresses, and custom fields that you define.
Even better, with Nimble’s mobile apps, all of this information travels with you. With Nimble’s Prospector extension, you can review records, edit records, and even create new records from anywhere on the web!
2. Relationship building – The keys to relationship building lies in your ability to stay top of mind, follow up and follow through, and in knowing your client so well, including remembering previous conversations, that they think that you have a photographic memory and/or a team of minions to assist you.
You need to be perceived as being different. You need to be R.U.M. (Remarkable, Unique, Memorable). Nimble’s tasks keep you on track to make sure that you follow up on your commitments. The stay in touch reminder ensures that you engage with contacts, at the very least, on a schedule that is determined by you.
Review notes and emails prior to reaching out and be sure to mention what you last discussed. Send educational newsletters to your best clients and contacts in only a few clicks. Staying top of mind is your only way of ensuring that your name will be there whenever the need arises and the opportunity presents itself!
3. Time savings – As if having all of these things at your fingertips, without having to rifle through scraps of paper to find an important note, were not enough … with Nimble you can create template emails to be used individually or personalized and sent to groups of contacts via group messaging or email message sequencing automations.
4. Automation – Nimble provides multiple layers of automation which can be found in workflows, web forms, and message sequences. For example, create a contact form for your website and, when someone fills out the form, they can be added as a contact record, added to a workflow for follow up, and added to an email sequence for nurturing and all automatically!
5. Opportunity management – New opportunities don’t grow on trees so the last thing you want to have happen is to either forget about them or to mismanage them. Let me give you an example. A potential opportunity can first be added to a lead qualification workflow where you will determine whether or not this is a good match for both parties.
All things being good, a deal is created which you then track through your sales process. Deals include things like a projected deal dollar value, a projected closing date, and your calculated percentage chance of success. While all of this is going on, Nimble is helping you to keep these deals on track and it is also creating a wide variety of revenue related reports for you, and if applicable, for your team.
