Nimble CRM Tips & Updates – August 7 2024

I’m back from vacation and we’re back to our twice monthly newsletter schedule! Since I ended my trip with a visit to the ER in Penticton, BC (not as bad as it sounds), I’m happy to be home! Let’s start with …

Just released …

Nimble has just released their message sequence templates. These templates are for a variety of applications (sales, marketing, hiring, etc.) and they include sample messages as well as suggested conditions.

You can use the template as is (you will still want to edit the messages), edit a template to fit your specific needs and save it as your own, or create a new template from scratch.

For someone like me who has had no experience with message sequencing, just having something to look at is extremely helpful! Here is an article and also a video. This all being said (more on this below), I’m advising that if you are not in a rush to deploy these, you may wish to hold for a few more updates to this feature.

Also just released is the ability to bulk update fields in contact records. For the longest time you could bulk update things like tags and contact ownership. Now, if you want to change a specific field(s) in selected contact records … no problemo. Read more here.

Coming Soon …

There will be sequence integrations with workflows, web hooks, and web forms allowing you to add contacts to sequences directly from these. Nimble will also be adding a calendar interface for selecting specific dates for sending. I have seen upcoming mods to condition options! After these are released, I’ll be hitting the “Go” button.

Branching, selecting a different path than just exit successfully or unsuccessfully or move to the next message, is on the roadmap as is the ability to add a contact to a specific step of a sequence. I have no dates on these, but I like to keep things simple anyway:)

Are you thinking about leveraging AI for more effective LinkedIn prospecting or perhaps using advanced marketing in your business? With so many people talking about these things, it’s tough to figure out who to talk to.

My area of expertise is Nimble CRM (specifically sales), however, I would be happy to connect you to an AI or marketing professional who I know and trust. Please reach out to me at craig@adaptive-business.com for an introduction!
