Nimble CRM Tips & Updates – December 17, 2025

Let’s get ready for 2026!

Updates!

I’m not sure if this is an update or if I finally figured out how to do it:) Copying and pasting from Word into Nimble has always been a nightmare which is why I have always advised folks to use Google Docs. It might look good on the screen but, when you send it in an email, it was always jacked up.

I’m Google based so Docs and Gmail have always been my go-tos. However, working with a new client who is locked into Word and Outlook, I decided to test the waters again and … it worked! There is a caveat.

When I copied and did a standard paste from Word to Nimble, it looked like hell. When I copied and pasted as plain text, the match default style option popped up and I selected that. I tested this in both my account using Gmail and my client’s account using Outlook. Winner winner chicken dinner! Test it out! No promises:)

Coming Soon!

AI Prospector is right around the corner! Expect at least a soft release sometime in the next 30 days. Maybe earlier. With a soft release there is generally no formal announcement so watch for it. Also, as this is such a major update to Prospector, I would be prepared for occasional bugs as well as future feature updates.

I also sat in on a Nimble webinar last week. The image above was in this webinar. Catch the replay here. Key news …

  • SMS, inbound, and outbound calling are on the 2026 roadmap.
  • Email find, as a part of email lists, in addition to existing email verification should be available very soon.
  • A single link combining unsubscribe and manage preferences … also very soon.
  • I did see where the Prospector extension will include information about you and your services which will be used in creating AI messages, right within Prospector. They also want to make this available in the main Nimble AI message creation interface.

Re this last part … letting Nimble know who you are and what you do. In the interim, I am using a free tool called Text Blaze which allows me to call up text snippets via a tag and insert them anywhere. After the AI message is generated, I insert my snippet asking the AI to rewrite the message taking into account who I am and the services that I offer. Works great!

One last thing … a good read to prep for 2026!

You are probably aware that I identify as a salesperson. I am passionate about all things selling and Nimble is a big part of that! The best book that I have ever read on this topic was by a gentleman named David A. Brock titled “The Sales Manager’s Survival Guide.”

I have personally known Dave for a number of years and I follow him relentlessly! He is practical and pragmatic and I generally find myself in total agreement with his thoughts and suggestions. It’s a bit scary:)

Dave has just released a new book called “Is ‘Good Enough’ Good Enough: Mindset and Behaviors for Sales Excellence.” While the book is directed at salespeople, the mindsets that Dave discusses are critical in both business and in life! To wit …

“Mediocrity isn’t “performing poorly.” It’s failing to perform to your full potential. Every time we take shortcuts, every time we’re sloppy, every time we don’t do our best when we have the capability, we’re choosing mediocrity.

The difference between mediocrity and excellence comes down to choice. Hundreds of small choices, made every day.

And surprisingly, being mediocre is actually harder than being excellent. You still face all the challenges, plus the burden of knowing you’re not bringing your best.”

Thank you again for placing your trust in my services! I’ll see you in 2026!
