Nimble CRM Tips & Updates – December 3, 2025

We are going to keep this short today as many of us are still experiencing a turkey hangover. What they say about tryptophan is entirely true:)

Coming Soon!

Watch out for Cyber Week Deals! Not sure what they are but I have been told that they are coming and some folks have already reported seeing them.

Nimble will be hosting AI Email Marketing Webinar including AI Prospector! – December 10 – 1:00 PM EST. Register here. I’ll be watching:)

Updates!

Nimble has introduced email address bounce verification where Nimble will detect likely to bounce emails before you send them to them! Here is the support article. Please note that this is a soft launch and many features are still being finalized.

The Email List Verification feature is available through Nimble Enrichment credits. You can buy credits at $10 per 1,000 credits. Each email verification will deduct 2 credits per email from your account. So, to wrap up the investment related to this …

In order to have email lists, you will need an email marketing account at $15 per month per Nimble account, not per Nimble user. You will have 100 enrichment credits per user per month (shared and just increased from 25!) but, in order to really use this feature, you will likely need/want to buy additional credits.

About those 100 credits (formerly 25). You have always had these to use for attempting to discover email addresses and phone numbers for contacts. Successful discoveries use 1 credit. Both applications, discover or verify, have now been rolled into one. In other words, whatever allowance you have will be used for both.

I have used Verifalia to perform this verification task. Their fee for 1,000 credits is $7.90. However, they offer a “good, better, best” system charging 1, 2, or 3 credits per email address verified. I don’t know how Nimble might compare to this but, for sake of argument, let’s say that the dollar investment is a wash.

However, in order to use Verifalia, I needed to …

  • Export my email list as a .csv file
  • Import that list to Verifalia
  • Run the verification process and then export that list
  • Manually edit records in Nimble that did not pass the test

While this process works, I can tell you that it is very time consuming and a huge pain in the … Compare this to Nimble where everything is done natively. From a cost/benefit standpoint, there is no comparison!

It’s also fair to say that, if your email lists use the double opt-in process, your lists should already be clean. This process can occur in one of two ways …

  1. You have the webforms and email marketing options and you create an email signup form. New folks go through the opt-in process to verify their email address and that they wish to receive your messages.
  2. What about your existing Nimble contacts? In this case, when you add them to a list, providing you have the double opt-in enabled, they will receive a message asking them to verify that they do want to receive your messages.

Either way, this opt-in process, by default, is simultaneously verifying both their permission and their email address.

That will do it for today. Thank you again for placing your trust in my services!
