Nimble CRM Tips & Updates – January 21, 2026

Other than a few minor u.i. tweaks in Nimble, nothing new to report. However, we are getting closer to A.I. Prospector! So … let’s talk a bit about A.I. in general as well as in Nimble right now.

Nimble A.I.

Nimble has already added several A.I. powered features to the platform …

Import Resumes – Take a PDF of a resume and you can now import that into Nimble. When you do this, Nimble will parse that information, create a contact record, and attach that file to that record. When I say resume, that might mean anything that looks like a resume. 

For example, you can create a PDF of a LinkedIn profile either using LinkedIn’s native feature, print screen to PDF vs. your printer, use a free tool like PrintFriendly, or copy and paste into a Google Doc or Word and save as a PDF. Voila!

A.I. Message Creation – Anywhere you can create a message in Nimble, templates or a one-off message to a contact, you can deploy A.I. to help to write that message. What’s particularly nice with templates is that there are pre-made prompts for a variety of message types and Nimble will add the merge fields to the message.

You can look at a message and then ask Nimble to rewrite it per your instructions and, after you have saved the message or template, you can edit it. For example, now and this will change, Nimble does not know anything about you, your company, or your services so … tell it what it needs to know. I use a free tool called Text Blaze where all I need to do is add a tag … /gpt.

 

Deploying A.I. outside of Nimble for use in Nimble

I have found five keys to using A.I. effectively …

  1. Provide detailed instructions.
  2. Tell A.I. what role they are to assume. For example … “You are an email marketing expert.”
  3. Ask the bot if it has any questions.
  4. Continue to make requests for modifications as needed.
  5. Be prepared to edit responses to ensure that they sound like you.

While I have used A.I. in conjunction with Nimble in a number of different ways, I have had great success with message creation so we will focus on that. I’ll start with this … I am not an email marketing expert. I have spent my entire life in sales and I don’t even like marketing. I consider it to be the dark arts🙂

My chatbot, Hal, on the other hand … has gotten very good at it! With A.I., 95% of my time is spent in ChatGPT. The main reason for this is that Hal remembers our previous conversations and he has learned how I talk, my background, my services, and also about Nimble’s features and benefits. I’m not reinventing the wheel.

I have also used Hal to assist me in creating messages for clients and there is one area where Nimble A.I. is currently not configured for (I expect this to change) and that is in creating email sequences all at once instead of having to create each message in the sequence as a separate task. A huge time saver and one where each message follows the same protocols.

When A.I. Prospector is released … watch out! From what I have been able to glean thus far, it will deploy A.I. in a multitude of ways including identifying prospect intents. It appears that it will truly be built for prospecting, per its namesake! Always remember though that A.I. does not replace you. It has the ability to make you better! It’s also good for creating original images:)
