We are still expecting big things to be coming soon from Nimble. Nothing new to report this week, but let’s start with a …
Correction/Apology – Note to self … wait for things to finalize before opening my big mouth. There will be a $15 up-charge per account, per account not per user, to access the upcoming bulk email features. I originally reported that no such fee was expected. Please shoot me if this changes.
Specifically … this $15 monthly charge will give you the ability to create and use a bulk email account and it will also give you access to the new HTML newsletter editor when that is released. As discussed previously, there will also be an available second level to this service and I have zero, repeat zero, idea of any potential charges.
Your monthly group message, sequence, or bulk message allowance remains at 1,000 such messages per user per month without additional charges. This is irrespective of whether or not you are using the bulk mailing feature. If you choose to purchase additional messages, these will be available for use for ANY group message or message sequence.
The addition of this $15 monthly charge does not affect the fact that this is still an excellent value if bulk email messages are your jam. To wit …
- Let’s say that you have 5,000 contacts. This will have zero effect on Nimble’s bulk messaging platform. Now go look at Mailchimp’s pricing page, specify 5,000 contacts, and hang onto your wallet!
- Vs. a third-party email service … there will be no need to have two separate contact databases, some way of connecting and updating contacts between the two, and emails sent with Nimble’s solution will be attached to contact records.
And … finally. I have always gone on record as not being a fan of “integrations” with Nimble. That is not to say that there are not some perfectly good ones, but it is quite often a matter of expectations. You need to read the fine print and do your homework prior to committing!
What is a “good integration” to some folks may be totally unacceptable to others like myself. I have very high expectations. I do not support 3rd. party integrations nor do I use any. Therefore, having marketing automation baked into Nimble itself … is highly desirable for me personally.
In other news, I’m currently working on a few new initiatives for my training offering including ….
Three tiers for my Nimble training and implementation services – While I have always offered programs specifically designed for the needs of my clients, this is a little more formal in identifying and separating beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of training.
I am currently planning to conduct two or three webinars per quarter – Each will focus on either a specific Nimble feature set, for example marketing automation, or they will be designed for using Nimble in a specific industry.
Finally, I am exploring how to offer sales, AI, and social sales training with an emphasis on how to leverage each with Nimble – The subject matter, for me, is pretty straightforward. How to integrate it is a little more challenging. Stay tuned!
That will do it for this edition. As always, thank you for your continued support!
