There are no new updates to report and nothing coming soon that I have not already discussed in previous newsletters. The one big thing we are waiting for, AI Prospector, is now likely going to be released late January or early February.
As I write this, I am about to become a first time grandfather! As you read this, I probably r one. So, with the holidays and baby prep, today’s newsletter will be a wee bit short. How short? You just finished it:)
Ok. Ok. I’ll give you a tip and this is probably one of the most valuable, yet vastly underutilized features, on Nimble.
Nimble’s Stay in Touch Reminder
Business, sales, has always been, and will always be, based on one thing … relationships. Relationships are created, maintained, and strengthened based on consistent engagements that bring value.
Nimble’s stay in touch reminders are designed for this specific purpose. A stay in touch reminder can be set for any contact, or added to contacts in bulk, and can be set weekly, quarterly, annually, or for any period expressed in days.
These are not repetitive tasks. Tasks are set for specific actions to occur on specific dates. A stay in touch reminder is used to remind you to engage. Green is good, yellow is coming due, and red is overdue. Stay in touch reminders are linked to your last contacted date, by you, field.
What resets that date?
- Emails exchanged do
- Calendar events held do
- Called logged as successful do
- Task do not
- Custom activities can
Tasks may or may not be indicative of engagements with contacts. Custom activities, think of them as custom tasks that include contact engagement, can be set (during custom activity creation) to reset the last contacted date fields.
The stay in touch icon is visible on applicable contact records, all contact lists, and there is even a built-in feature to show only contacts with reminders. There is also a widget for your Today Page. Finally, if you are in a team environment, individual team members can set different reminders for the same contact. Get u some!!
