This has not yet been announced, but I was looking at Nimble’s import routines in preparation for a client meeting and … there is now an option to “Import Resume”. Interesting:) I decided to test it out to see what it might do.
What is a LinkedIn profile? It’s a resume. So, I created a PDF of a person’s profile and I uploaded it. Nimble parsed that information, via AI, and created a perfect contact record! Nice! Name, title, employment history, all there.
While this new feature does appear to have some settings/options, I have not yet seen a support article so we’ll probably have to wait for that before exploring those.
Nimble has already made some AI related public announcements about what they have been working on including using AI to identify prospects that might meet your ICP (Ideal Client Profile) and maybe even your TBP (Target Buyer Persona). “Import Resume” represents step #1.
What I have been working on …
I continue to modify my AI powered Nimble cleanup routines. Not quite ready for wide release yet, but closer. I have, however, finalized a routine where AI analyzes LinkedIn profiles and creates a Pre-Call Synopsis Report.
Phase I is a set of simple instructions that you can copy and paste into your ChatGPT. Please email me at craig@adaptive-business.com if you would like a free copy. If your version of ChatGPT supports file uploads, you can just upload the PDF itself! I am now working on Phase II which will be to develop an actual app to perform this function.
This may become available in two or more configurations with different levels of capabilities. Don’t ask me to explain this … yet. I venture into uncharted waters for me and in areas that are definitely nowhere to be found in my existing skill sets:) Stay tuned! No promises, but hopefully I can get this done.
Bonus tips! My AI pre-call synopsis works off a PDF of a LinkedIn profile. In some cases you can just use the profile URL. I then take the generated report and paste it into a Google doc, download that as a PDF, and attach that to the contact’s record in Nimble. In most cases, ChatGPT should be able to create the PDF on its own.
Of course, you need to create a record first. Take that PDF and import it into Nimble as a resume. My AI generated report may even include an email and a phone number providing that this information is publicly available.
