Nimble CRM Tips & Updates – November 5, 2025

Quite a bit to discuss today so let’s get started! Please note … this is a lonnnng one so I have also included a podcast. You’re welcome:)

Updates

I missed this! The new email list features are only available if you are using the email marketing add-on for $15 per month. They are considered to be a part of this package. You now also have the ability to import email addresses to email lists via .csv.

The webform and webchat integration has been released with email lists. You will need the webform add-on for $12 per month. If you need both, that is an additional $27 ($15 + $12) per month on top of your standard subscription. These fees are per account, not per user.

With the webform integration, you can now create a newsletter sign-up form, have them complete the optional double opt-in, create a contact record, add them to your newsletter list, and then even send them to a workflow and/or sequence … automatically and simultaneously. Tasty!

AI message creation is available in templates and when composing a message from scratch in group messages, sequences, one-off messages, and on mobile apps.  Here is the support article. A large number of upgrades to this capability are on the immediate horizon.

Contact sync update! First off, I have gone on record as not being a fan of contact syncing from MS365 or Google to Nimble. Unless managed carefully, all of your junk contacts from these services will be junking up your Nimble database.

I did run into a situation with a client several months ago where we discovered that one user’s contact syncing from MS365 was changing contact record ownerships in Nimble. This has been corrected and there is now a checkbox to activate when you connect your account. However, all users who sync contacts must check this box.

Finally … I have seen some very early mockups of Nimble’s upcoming AI Prospector. We are hoping to see this sometime in the next 30 to 60 days and, when we do, prepare to have your socks knocked off!!

Let’s talk about your Nimble investment …

Start here at Nimble’s pricing page. Be sure to hit the “see all features” button. Here’s a breakdown of your investment …

  • Basic Subscription – $29.90 per user monthly or $24.90 per user if paid annually.
  • Included allowances – 25,000 total contacts per account, 2 GB storage per user, 1,000 group or sequence messages per user per month, 25 contact email lookups per user per month. Per user allowances are shared. All of these allowances can be increased for additional monthly fees and unused allowances (messages and contact email lookup) do not carry forward.
  • Optional features – Email marketing including email lists – $15 per account per month. Webforms and webchat – $12 per account per month.

Increased message allowances – This is where folks get confused and this only relates to emails that are sent out as either group messages or as a part of a message sequence. The email marketing add-on has NO effect on your 1,000 message per user per month allowance.

You can buy additional messages as either a monthly add-on or in a bulk amount. Unused messages from one month do not carry forward to the next if you are buying monthly. Bulk messages, while a bit more expensive, do not expire. Here are the details.

Are you using a third-party mailing service?

Let’s run a scenario where you are now using something like MailChimp or Constant Contact to send out your newsletters. Your Nimble account has 3 users, you have 2,500 people on your email list, and you send your newsletter out weekly.

In order to do this, your additional monthly fees (assuming that you do not need additional contact or storage allowances) would be …

  • Email marketing – $15 per month
  • Webforms (assuming your are using a newsletter sign up form) – $12 per month
  • Additional group messages – $69 per month based on up to 5 weeks in a month x 2,500 group messages = 12,500 monthly group messages. Your allowance for 3 users is 3,000 group messages per month. You are going to need an additional 10,000 messages minimum.

Altogether this would be an additional $96 per month. What are you paying for your current third-party service? I’m guessing that you will likely save money by bringing this in-house in Nimble. Additionally …

  • Everything is in Nimble vs. having two separate platforms including two separate sets of contacts and contact histories.
  • All messages sent to contacts via Nimble are added to contact records. Every email goes out individually vs. as a .bcc.

When evaluating these types of decisions, I rarely look at them as being expenses. Rather, I consider them to be investments. I see CRM in general, as well as the ability to conduct outreach at scale, as revenue generating activities.

If they are not … why even do them? So, if I can invest $200 and get a $2,000 return … I’m all in! That will do it for today! Thank you again for placing your trust in my services!
