Nimble CRM Tips & Updates – October 1 2024 – Sequencing

A number of new updates (all that I have been expecting) have been released to Nimble CRM’s message sequencing and I am now comfortable with discussing these.

First off, certain elements of the sequence creation user interface have been modified. The result is that they are much easier to interpret and, as a bonus, much more colorful:) The biggest updates are in the way that message sequences can now integrate with other Nimble features …

Message Sequences and Workflows

There are two new ways that these can work together …

  1. A new option in workflow automations will allow you to automatically add a contact to a message sequence when that contact is moved from a specific stage, or from any stage, to another (per your definition).
  2. Going the other way, you can choose to move a contact from a sequence to a workflow whenever a specific condition is met.

Read about these features here.

Message Sequences and Webforms/Hooks and … Workflows

After a web form submission, you can automatically enroll people into a sequence or add them to a workflow. You can do the same thing with web hooks (a connection between Nimble and a 3rd party app).  Read about it here!

Here is an article, with video, on these new releases. I’m not going to go into an in-depth discussion of these updates as it would probably turn this newsletter into a novel and the articles cover these changes far better than I can. Besides …

I’m taking the marketing and AI plunge!

Right now, I am up to my elbows in learning about marketing and AI. I have spent my entire career in B2B sales and I have always considered marketing to be the “dark arts” and likely a product of Satan. AI? All I can think about is “The Terminator”:)

This all being said, I have two goals with these new pursuits. Sure, I want to increase my book of business but, just as importantly, I want to position myself as a better resource for you. While I can now advise folks on the mechanics of sequencing, this is email marketing and I want to be able to assist you with best practices as well.

Both of these disciplines, marketing and AI, fall under the general category of digital marketing which includes anything and everything web-related including social networks. I have already begun introducing both to LinkedIn and I am seeing results.

Or are you considering leveraging AI for more effective LinkedIn prospecting, or perhaps using advanced marketing in your business, or are you looking at improving your managed I.T. services including security, workflow, and telephony? With so many people talking about these things, it’s tough to figure out who to talk to.

My area of expertise is Nimble CRM (specifically sales), however, I would be happy to connect you to an AI, managed services, or marketing professional who I know and trust. Please reach out to me at craig@adaptive-business.com for an introduction!
