Nimble CRM Tips & Updates – September 4 2024

Everything these days, in one way or another, is tied to … sequencing, so let’s get started.

Status Check

Where am I today on deploying sequences? I am not 100% there yet. No matter how hard I try, I seem to keep running into roadblocks. I hit a major one with a client this past week. Fortunately, the Nimble team got right on it and made a same day fix but … it’s been frustrating:(

Message sequencing, which is totally tied to automation, is extremely complex in itself. Nimble, and they should be applauded for this, is taking it many steps further with upcoming integrations with other existing automations like those that are found in workflows and web forms. 

This is a huge undertaking and any little thing can upset the apple cart. Personally, I want to see things settle in a bit before taking a huge dive into the deep end of the pool. I would also like to first test and evaluate new features as they are being rolled out. 

That being said, and I have stated this before, if you want to get your feet wet, keep it simple and don’t panic if you run into some challenges. My one client who is running a basic sequence right now … it appears to be operating as it should.

Sequencing Integrations with workflows and web forms is imminent. Furthermore, workflows and sequences will work both ways … workflows to sequences and sequences to workflows.

Branching, selecting a different path than just exit successfully or unsuccessfully or move to the next message, is also planned. I have no dates on this, but I like to keep things simple anyway:) I would not wait for these if you wanted to use sequences now.

There are a number of exciting completely new features on the Nimble roadmap! As I have no idea of exactly when or if these will come to fruition, I’ll be keeping these close to the vest for now.
