Lots of Nimble CRM news to report this month!
Email reply reminder notes – Reply reminders were literally rolling out when I sent the last newsletter so here are some updated resources … Article. Video. Other quick notes …
- You can select how long to wait for a reply
- Reminders can only be applied to emails from within Nimble. They are not available within Gmail or Outlook interfaces.
- Reminders can be applied to existing emails from your message inbox or within existing contact records.
Email open tracking vs email reminders … Similar but different. Open tracking will let you know WHEN a message has been OPENED. Reminders will let you know when you HAVE NOT received a REPLY based on a time allowance that you specify.
Messaging automations, as well as automations for deals, are still coming. When you look at email reply reminders, and you combine those with automated messaging … I’m a salesperson and not a marketer but I believe that you would call that a “drip campaign”:)
Web forms – Nimble has just introduced web forms which can be embedded in your website or even in your emails! Here’s an article and here’s a video!
More resources …
- Reports for web forms
- Customize web forms and templates
- Embed your web form
- Getting started with Nimble web forms
- Nimble’s web forms billing details
Web forms are an optional additional charge to your Nimble subscription so let’s talk a bit about your options when using web forms with Nimble. You have multiple choices for adding web forms to your website and then linking those to Nimble.
- Wufoo – This is a 3rd party option that has been baked into Nimble for quite some time now. As of this writing it still is in Nimble. You may need to pay for Wufoo depending on your volume of form submissions.
- Zapier and a web form application – Now you are using two third party applications and may need to pay for one or for both. Zapier will work with probably most 3rd party web form applications such as Contact Form 7.
- Nimble web forms – The additional cost is $12 per month for up to 10 forms and unlimited responses. Everything is an integral part of Nimble (no 3rd parties) and this includes reports. That fee is per account. Not per user.
Now, I have been using Wufoo since it became available and it does work well. I have been using the free version but my volume of entries and number of forms is quite low. I can’t say that it is the most user friendly software that I have tried. Nimble’s new web forms are far easier to use and to format. I have not worked with a solution involving Zapier.
As with the Nimble basic subscription, I look at the forms option as an investment rather than an expense. If they help you to sell more stuff … how much stuff do you need to sell in order to earn an additional $12 per month in order to pay for it? My guess is … NOT MUCH:)
Improvements, additional features, will be added to web forms going forward. Pro Tip! If you wish to add a deliverable to your contact form, use a link to forward a contact to a cloud storage location (Google Drive, One Drive, or Dropbox, for example) upon form completion.
That will do it for this month. Lots of new goodies for you to read up on! If you would like to learn more about Nimble and to determine whether or not it might be right for you, please schedule a free 30-minute Zoom consultation with me!
