Nimble CRM for Solopreneurs

You Like Nimble CRM & You Want To Go DIY

Do It Yourself. Maybe you are tech savvy or you have a CRM background and how hard can it be? While I applaud your confidence, I would also caution against it. If you really want to deploy Nimble, and to leverage it to its full potential, I think that you may wish to consider getting a little help. What is your time worth?

I have used CRM since the late 80”s and I have been a Nimble Solution Partner since before it was introduced in 2012. After working with so many businesses, and with so many unique needs, I have learned much about how Nimble thinks. I’m still learning.

While Nimble is very simple to use, if you really want to have it act in a way that will be the most beneficial for you and your business, there are a number of features that are less apparent. Activating these hidden gems can potentially supercharge your results.

The fact is, a very large percentage of my clients came to me after using Nimble for quite some time. They finally got tired of flopping around. Looking at their accounts, I can generally immediately see why. While they are on Nimble, they are only on it … barely. I refer to my first task as being “cleanup on aisle 6.”  Now we can really get down to work.

There are many reasons for deciding to use a CRM … better organization, time savings, details at your fingerprints. Ultimately, I have always seen CRM as a vehicle to increase my revenues. For me, at least, that would be the only reason.

Nimble is an investment, as are my services, and each comes with an expected return. For a single user, the first year investment in both will likely be under $2,500. Add $300 for each additional user license. After that, $300 per user per year for a basic Nimble subscription.

While I don’t know what your average sale might be, or what the expected profit would be from that transaction, my guess is that you won’t need to make too many of these, with the help of Nimble, to justify that investment. Where I came from, the electric sign business, that would be one or two sales at most. What would it be worth to you to be able to …

  • Have all of your contact information and a record of your previous, and future, engagements in one convenient record?
  • Not have to rely on your memory to complete promised tasks on time?
  • Keep track of incoming leads as they go through your qualification process?
  • Accurately predict your upcoming revenues?
  • Email a selected group of clients with important information and do that in a few clicks?
  • Take Nimble anywhere on the web and prospect for new business opportunities?
  • Create personalized prospecting message sequences that run automatically?
  • Have all of this and more available on your mobile device?
