Nimble CRM Tips & Updates – June 17, 2026

Well, I was getting ready to report … nothing new and give both of us a break:) Then, as I was poking around, I noticed one thing … Looking at group messages, I see a new menu item for tags. Let’s explore this a bit.

You have always had the ability in group messages to assign a contact record tag to an individual, or even to a group, of contacts who you sent that group message to. These tags are the same as any contact record tag and you can use existing tags or create new ones.

Where might you use this? Well, how about this. I am looking for people who engage with my group message in some fashion. This could, for example, be someone who opened the message or, even more telling, someone who clicked a link or a specific link. These actions show interest so why not tag them for follow-up.

In this same interface, you could also choose to send those folks a new group message as a follow-up. Now, I would not be inclined to have that message say … “I see that you clicked on my link. I’m sending over the paperwork. Please press hard as there are 3 copies!” 🙂 Rather, “I sent you a message the other day about [topic] and, if you saw that, I wanted to see if you had any questions that I could answer for you?”

This new feature, and Jenna from Nimble says it all … You can now tag group messages! That way if you’re looking for a certain type of group message you sent out, you don’t have to search via date for it!Thanks, Jenna! Here is a look at both …

The search bar will be found in the left-side menu bar for group messages and … the tags just keep on comin’! We now have separate tagging systems for: contacts, activities, deals, and now group message types. Say that ten times really fast:)

That will do it for today! Thank you again for placing your trust in my services!
